Definition of ART
Art has a lot of catagories and thus a lot of defintions. From Renaissance inspired by arists like Leonardo da Vinci,Abstract art like cubisim inspired by artist like Pablo Picasso (1881-1973),abstract expressionism,Dada/Surrealism inspired by arist like salvador Dali (1904-1989).Most of these dates are from an Art history website by MR.harden

Art is the metaphysical extension of your thoughts, ideas and being. Art can be defined as the physical respresentation of ideas and thoughts. Art can also be defined as an existential interputation. Japanese Animation is a greatly inspired me to Draw, paint, and design. Japanese animation could be defined as Neo or Contemporary art.If you want to learn more about Japanese animation here is a good article called "The Romantic, Passionate Japanese in Anime: A Look at the Hidden Japanese Soul"
by By Eri Izawa aboutJapanese Animation and it's origin.
I have been coloring ,tracing and drawing stick figures as long as I can remember. I started drawing three dimentional images and observational when I was about seven or eight years old. I first started drawing when I saw a show on how to create cartoon animation. These Animation were created using a technique called frame by frame images on a flip book. For example, you can draw a closed eye then on the next page on draw an open eye. This animation was created by my friend Bashir muhamid it basically consisted of three separate frame. Frame number one is an open eye frame one.Frame number two is an eye frame two about to close and frame number three is a closed eye frame three. These are all basic gif file that are running in sequence. And when you flip and close the page the eyes would seem like it is blinking. was so inspired by the little industry secret I wanted to create my own cartoon. I was not really sucessful in creating a 400 scene cartoon but I did create thitry scenes or so.
One of the first technique that really implemented was picture observationism. Picture observationism is when you draw a picture from another image or picture from a book magazine or any of periodical. Limited in my skills I could never draw real life three dimentional objects. This all changed though when I took an art class in high school. I learned a lot of different a drawing technique such as detailing, scaling and pesperctive. Detailing is a technique of drawing, where you include every feature imaginable or possible on the object. Using detailing on my drawing has really givem my drawing depth and dimension. An example of drawing where I really incoparated is wolverin wolf. This portrait of Hitchcock by my friend Carlos ,is another very good example of Art work drawn that incoporates detailing in largly.
Scaling is a drawing technique, where you use as any triangles, trapzoid, any basic shape preferbly circles to form the whole drawing. These basic shapes are sub elements of a picture. Another technique that is usually incoparated in drawing before the sub elements is the basic form. The basic form for the human being would be the indo skeleton. You don't actuall draw the whole indo skeleon, you actually just draw erasable line that represent the indo skeleton. This technique shows the structure and form of the drawing.
Pespective is a drawing techinque where you draw scale everything relative to the background or horizon. The easiet way to incoporate this technique is drawing first drawing horizontal line, then drawing to paralle line diagnoly toward from the edges of the canvas to the center of the horizol.Basically it's like drawing an a see saw with an isoceles base. After that on the parale diagnol lines draw larger Buildings ,infront close to the edges and smaller buildings at the middle closer to the center of the horizontal line.
3D Drawing And Japanese Animation
I have been trying to drawing three dimentional object in a realsitic form, but have never really profected it.They are a lot of techniques of drawing that one can implement to make theire work more realsitic and three dimention. One of the easiet technique is shading. Shading is a drawing technique ,where you darken or color in the surface of the object where light could not reach. Another technique that can really make a drawing or skeching more realisting is structuring and circling. If you draw an Object starting with the basic form and posture of the object than cirlce. YOu can get the whole positioning and propotionality of the piece. After that you can change the circle is to a sphere and imagine it's depth.
After detailing, shading and coloring you can do lighting or shadowing. shawdoing is a drawing technique is which you excajurate the angle of light and darken the whole piece persperctively to the light. The difference between shading and shadowing is concatrates on the light and shadows on the images relative to the side of the light images, while shadoing contsatrates shading of the sceneray relative to the observational or imaginary light source.
Japanese Animation has really taked my height to new level. Japanese animation Uses lighting, shading and shadowing to the fullest extent. Most American Animation concetrate on the motion and movement of the Characters. An example of super realistic motion Animation is Disney Land Tarzan. The detail of the motion and how the movement bend and shapes tarzans arms and th enivoremnet is Amazing. One element that American Animation is lacking is the crazy lighting, shadowing and shading effects Japanese Animation has. In a typical Japanese Animation fighting scene. The back grpunds fades away. The protagonist worrier would charging towards the antagonist and only you can see is the sword the zooming backround and profiling of the worrier. The scene looks like a view of road when the car is going real fast. The faster the car goes the narrower the road gets. The quick weapon movement and slow motion sereal sceneray.
