Nassoro:
why don’t you tell us a little about your self and your music?
Chris: Hey, everyone... I'm Chris Stott aka Cake, and I
play guitar for Heroes of Elysium. I was born on January 29th, 1985 and I have been into music my whole life. As a kid I was always
into playing outside and having fun that wasn't necessarily found in a TV
set. At home I had my parents and siblings that taught me things I wouldn't
learn in school, and I think I am stronger because of it.
On October 24th I accomplished one of my life long
dreams; I recorded at the studio with my band. We tracked for 14 hours and it
was one of the coolest experiences of my life.
Nassoro: With that little introduction, let jump in
right into your background, where were your born (country)?
|
|
Chris: I was born in the U.S.A
Nassoro: where did you grow up (state. city) and
streets do you represent?
Chris: I grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. My family moved here shortly after I was born to be closer to
where my father grew up. I represent the "mean streets" of
Stedwick. Ha-ha
Nassoro: what school (High school, college) did you go
to?
Chris-Watkins Mill High School - 1999 to 2003
Nassoro: how was your up bring
like (child hood, adult hood)?
Chris: Throughout my
childhood I was always kind of the shy kid... I guess that kept me out of
trouble when it comes to the law, ha-ha. When I got into high school, my
older brother Tom was a senior and I decided to join the Cross Country team
in which he was Captain. I think the discipline I learned from not only the
training, but hanging out with people four years older than me is what
started to break me out of the shell I was in.
