Description

1-The A Major Chord - the A major chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the A-major-chord you need to place your index finger on the second fret of the 4th string D. Next, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 3rd string. To complete the A major chord, place your ring finger on the second fret of the 2nd string, and then strum all the strings at the same time except for the 6th (top) string.

2-The A Minor Chord - the A minor chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the A-minor-chord, place your ring finger on the second fret of the 4th string. Next, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 3rd string. To complete the A minor chord, place your index finger on the first fret of the 2nd string and strum all of the strings except the 6th (top) string.

3-The B Minor chord - the B minor chord in open posistion is made by using 4 fingers. First, to play the B-minor-chord, place your ring finger on the fourth fret of the 4th string. Next, place your pinky finger on the fourth fret of the 3rd string. After that, place your middle finger on the third fret of the 2nd string. To complete the B minor chord, place your index finger on the second fret of the 1st string and strum all of the strings except the top two, the 5th and 6th strings.

4-The C Major Chord - the C major chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the C-major-chord you need to place your ring finger on the third fret of the 5th string. Next, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 4th string. To complete the C major chord, place your index finger on the first fret of the 2nd string and strum all the strings at the same time except for the 6th (top) string.

5-The D Major Chord - the D major chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the D-major-chord you need to place your middle finger on the second fret of the 1st string. Next, place your index finger on the second fret of the 3rd string. 6-The D Minor chord - the D minor chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the D-minor-chord, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 3rd string. Next, place your ring finger on the third fret of the 2nd string. To complete the D minor chord, place your index finger on the first fret of the 1st string and strum all of the strings except the top two, the 5th and 6th strings.

7-The E Major Chord - the E major chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers. First, to play the E-major-chord you need to place your ring finger on the second fret of the 5th string. Next, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 4th string. To complete the E major chord, place your index finger on the first fret of the 3rd string and strum all of the strings.

8-The F Major Chord - the F major chord in open position is made by using 3 fingers, however your index finger plays two strings simultaneously. First, to play the F-major-chord, place your ring finger on the third fret of the 4th string. Next, place your middle finger on the second fret of the 3rd string. To complete the F major chord, place your index finger in the first fret across both the 1st and 2nd strings and strum all of the strings except the top two, the 5th and 6th strings.

9-The G Major Chord - the G major chord in open position is made by using 4 fingers. First, to play the G-major-chord, place your middle finger on the third fret of the 6th (top) string. Next, place your index finger on the second fret of the 5th string. After that, place your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the 2nd string. To complete the G major chord, place your pinky finger on the 3rd fret of the 1st string and strum all of the strings.
