When they got home it was 8:30PM. They went inside and sat down on the
couch and watched tv for a little while. Amanda fell asleep. "Brian,"
Mariah said. "She's sleeping already isn't she?" she added. "Yeah,
why?" he asked. "Because I forgot to tell her the breeder called. Your
puppy's ready to come home." Mariah answered. "Okay, can you call the
guy, and tell him we'll go pick him up tomorrow?" he asked. "Sure,"
Mariah said walking out to the kitchen to get the phone. She called him.
A few minutes later Mariah hung up. "Uh, he kind of needs you to pick
him up today, he'll stay open just for you guys to come get him." she
told him. "Alright," Brian answered. He woke up Amanda and told her
they had to go get the dog. She put Brian's hoodie on and walked out to
the car half asleep. They drove the 10 minutes to the breeder and
picked a male brindle bullmastiff. They paid the breeder and put the dog in
the car, and drove back home. "He's cute," Amanda said smiling. "he's
tough not cute," Brian said laughing. "Nu uh, he's cute." Amanda
argued. "Whatever honey," he said giving up. They got to the house and
Brian got the dog, then Amanda grabbed all the bags from earlier out of
the trunk.
Amanda showed Brian everything she bought, including the stuff for the
dogs. "Why the hell did you spend so much money on the dogs?" he
snapped. "Because its my money and I'm allowed." she answered. "200
dollars is ridiculous!" he snapped again. "Brian stop it! What is up with
you right now?" Amanda asked. "You're not gonna be able to work for 6
months and you're spending most of your money on the freakin dogs, thats
whats up with me right now," he said. " Brian, honey, stop!" she said
walking over to him giving him a kiss. "No," he snapped. "Brian,"
Amanda started. "No," he snapped again. "Whatever, she said trying not
to cry, she ran up to their room. Brian sat downstairs for a few
minutes then decided to go upstairs.
He went into their room, Amanda was on her cell. "I'm almost ready to
start recording my album," she said to her agent. "I know, you're mad
at me, but I was just letting you know." she said hanging up. "You
okay baby?" Brian asked sitting next to her. "If you're done being an ass
over freakin dog stuff."Amanda snapped. "Damn, I'm glad I'm leaving
for testing tomorrow morning." Brian answered. "Me too, I think we're
starting to get on each others nerves." Amanda said. "Yeah," Brian said
laying down on the bed. Amanda layed down next to him and rested her
head on his chest. "Good night honey," Amanda said. "Night babe,"
Brian said back.
......5:30 AM
Brian sat up and rubbed his eyes. Amanda half opened her eyes, "Whats
wrong?" she asked sleepily. "Nothing, I gotta meet Pete at 8 at the
track and I didn't even pack my stuff," he said. "Oh, well baby, go do
whatever else you have to do and I'll pack your stuff." she said yawning.
"Thanks babe, I love you," he said giving her a kiss. She got out of
bed and started packing Brian's stuff. She was just finishing as Brian
came out of the bathroom. "Right on time," she said smiling. "I'm
gonna miss you," Brian said wrapping his arms around her. "I'm gonna miss
you too." she said giving him a kiss. "I wish I could go with you,"
she added. "Me too," Brian agreed. "And to think last night we couldn't
wait to get away from each other," Amanda said. "Why would we ever say
something like that?" he asked. "I don't know," Amanda answered.
Brian grabbed his bag and they went downstairs. "Call me as soon as you get
to the track, I have that shoot today, but call anyways." Amanda said
as Brian walked out the door. "Will do baby," he said throwing his bag
in the car. He turned around and went back to Amanda,"I love you," he
said giving her a kiss. "Love you too." she said as he started back to
the car, he got in and drove away. Amanda went back upstairs and went
back to sleep.
....7:30 AM
"Amanda! Wake up!" Mariah yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Alright," Amanda answered. She got out of bed and took a shower. She put
on a pair of jeans and a tank top. Then she grabbed a hoodie from
Brian's closet and put it on. She put on a pair of black flip flops and her
purse then went downstairs. Then, her and Mariah left for the shoot.

Brian was just getting off the plane. Peter had a car waiting for him
at the airport. He got in the car and drove to the track.
(with Amanda)
Amanda was in the wardrobe closet waiting for the stylist to choose
outfits for each of them. She ended up wearing a Fox Racing tank top
with short shorts and black platform flip flops. Her hair was blow-dried
straight and she had pink eyeshadow and lip gloss on. Then they
started the shoot.
(Brian)
As soon as he got to the track, he called Amanda. Mariah answered the
phone.
"Hello?"-M
"Hey Ri, Is my gurl there?"-B
"Yeah, but they're in the middle of a shoot."-M
"Oh shit, sorry I forgot."-B
"It's alright, I can have her call you when shes done. She only has a
few more pictures then she gets to go, they're worried this is too much
for her."-M
"Oh, Alright. I'll call back in like 15, if Pete doesn't have me on
the track by then."-B
"Okay, I'll tell her."-M
"Thanks Ri, Bye."-B
"No prob Bri. See ya."-M
She hung up the phone, as Amanda looked over towards her. 'Brian just
called' Mariah mouthed to her. Amanda let out a sigh of relief, since
she finally knew he was there. The shoot was over just as Brian called
back.
"Hey baby!" she said picking up the phone.
"Hey luv, how ya doin?" he asked.
"I'm good, how are you?"-A
"Better since I'm talking to you."-B
"Aww. I was so happy when Ri said you called, I was so scared when it
took you so long to call."-A
"Oh sorry honey, I got to the airport to early. So I had to wait a
little while."-B
"Ohh, well I took a hoodie from your closet, hope you don't care."-A
"Nah babe, thats fine." -B
"I miss you already, we haven't been apart for more than an hour for 2
months, and its just so weird."-A
"Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm used to somebody's hand or someone
being next to me, but now its just not."-B
"Yeah, well Peter's probably happy I'm not there to distract you. You
need to get used to the track before I go there."-A
"Yeah, he's kind of happy you're not here, this isn't exactly his
favorite track, and hes using some choice words that you don't hear very
often."-B
"Yea, probably."-A
"Alright baby, I'm gonna go before he gets mad at me,"-B
"Okay honey. I love you. Call me when you completely done for the
day."-A
"Alright luv. I love you too. Talk to you later."-B
"Bye." Amanda said hanging up.
Amanda sighed, "I miss him so much already Ri." "I know you do, it
doesn't really help that hes so far away." she answered. "I know, but I
just wanna be there with him. He even said he misses having someone
next to him. I know he doesn't when hes racing, but thats different.
"Amanda explained. "Yeah, its hard when you have someone who cares that
much about you." Mariah answered.
Amanda took out her notebook that she writes thoughts and songs in and
wrote:
"Always right next to me,
Care so much about you,
Never been apart,
Miss you already."
"I almost have enough songs to start an album." Amanda said to Mariah.
"I could call Justin to tell him that you can start recording." she
volunteered. "Tried it already, hes still pissed about the baby thing."
Amanda sighed. "I don't know if I even wanna do it anymore. I mean I
have a family, and with Brian racing, I'd never see him, and he'd never
see the baby." Amanda added. Then Amanda's cell phone rang, it was
Peter.
