| Chapter 5 When the plane landed it was about 11 a.m. I was sitting in the seat, they opened the door to the plane, and nervousness overtook my body. I sat there trying to will myself to get up out of my seat as the other passengers passed me by. Kaseys POV God where is she I hope she came I thought to myself as I watched the people walk out into the terminal. Crowds of people were coming out, still no Shay. I waited a few minutes, the crowd that had once herded out of the skyway, was now thinned out. I watched sadly as the stewardess went to shut the door. Damn she didnt come, why she didnt come I asked myself as I walked away. I felt my stomach drop when I heard her voice. Shays POV Im so sorry maam I just wasnt rushing to get off the plane I said, apologizing to the lady who had almost just hit me in the face with the door. No problem hun the lady said, letting me through and then closing the door behind me. I walked out into the terminal, my eyes scanning the crowd. I was looking for any sign of him, but I found those blue eyes. He was standing off to the side, watching me. I walked over to him, stopping when a group of people walked in between us. I cant take my eyes off him I said to myself. When the crowd of people dissipated, I continued my way over to him. He smirked, the side of his lip curling up. I couldnt help but smile gets me every time I thought. Once I got to him I quickly threw my arms around his neck. His expression turned to shock Nice to see you too he said, placing his hand on my hip. I grinned when I felt his hand pull my towards him, he placed a small kiss on my cheek and leaned in to whisper something in my ear. Im glad you came the words echoed through my head. Kasey grabbed my hand and started to walk towards the baggage claim area. I went to grab my bag which had already come down, he took it from me and carried it, never letting go of my hand. We made our way to his rental car, he opened the door for me and I slid inside. He threw my bag in the trunk and hopped into the drivers seat. Kasey started the car and headed out into traffic. This should be a fun weekend I said, looking at all of the motor homes that were parked in the infield. Yeah Kasey said, looking at me. We pulled through the gates and Kasey flashed his pass at the guard. We drove through the coaches and Kasey stopped, at what I could only assume was his. He got out and opened my door for me; I had almost forgotten how much of a gentleman he was. He grabbed my bags and walked up beside me. He unlocked the door and held it as I walked up in front of him. Nice I said, nodding approvingly. Kasey chuckled and set my bag down. You can sleep in my room and ill take the couch he said, pointing to the back of the coach. Kase you can sleep back there, the couch is fine with me I said, trying to convince him to take the bed. Nope, just take it he said, sternly. Kasey picked up my bag and tossed it on the bed in his room. I have to go to the garage real quick, wanna come? he asked. I thought for a moment, No go ahead, I had a long flight and I really want to take a quick nap so I can watch qualifying in a bit I smiled. Kasey walked up and kissed me on the cheek. Call me when you wake up if I am not here he said, grabbing his hat and walking out the door. I laid down on the bed, kicking my shoes off onto the floor. I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep. BACK HOME NEXT |
