9/7-Dario Franchitti is returning to the IRL in 2009 to drive for Target Chip Ganassi. Bryan Clauson will run the remaining Nationwide races in the #40 Dodge.
9/7-David Stremme will drive the #12 Penske Dodge in the Sprint Cup Series in 2009. Stremme current drives the #64 RWI Chevy in the Nationwide Series.
9/7-Nationwide teams will test their version of the COT this Mon. & Tues @ RIR. Drivers participating include: Kyle Busch, David Reutimann, Morgan Shepherd, Scott Wimmer, Kevin Harvick, David Stremme, David Ragan, Carl Edwards, Eric Darnell, and Collin Braun.

9/5 - Scott Speed will Sept. 23-24 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in anticipation of his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut in the Bank of America 500 on Oct. 11. Red Bull Racing has secured the No. 82 for Speed's Toyota Camry. Scott Speed is currently driving full-time in the ARCA Remax Series and part-time in the Craftsman Truck Series.
