Audio Galaxy - The Audiogalaxy Satellite is a small and simple program that allows you to share your music with friends and other  users on Audiogalaxy. You must download, install, and run the Audiogalaxy Satellite for the system to work correctly. In the windows version you will know that the AG Satellite is running when the Audiogalaxy logo appears on your system tray (lower right corner of your screen).

AudioGnome -  A great program that comes highlly recommended, easy to use.  I hope you will take the time to check it out.  It is packed with excellent features.

Bearshare - It lets you search for, download, and share files with everyone on Gnutella's global peer-to-peer network. This program works with MP3, MPEG, AVI, ASF, MOV, JPEG, GIF, and other file types. It features full documentation (installed with the program), slick graphics, and a user interface that makes searching, downloading, and file sharing easy. It also features upload bandwidth controls, enhanced connection management, and improved downloading.

Circles File Sharing - Allows you to post and retrieve files on the internet. Stay connected with friends and family with eCircles.

Direct Connect - Direct Connect allows users to share multiple directories from their local and mapped disks with other users over a TCP/IP network. All users' shared files are available to all other users; no passwords or hassles are required. Direct Connect provides integrated searching, graphical navigation of files, and public and private chatting.

eDonkey2000 - It doesn't rely on a central server yeet searches are quick and your client doesn't get bogged down with endless search requests. You have the ability to search all the files being shared anywhere on the eDonkey2000 network.

Free Net  -  A new peer to peer network that allows for the shareing of all files and is based on the free speech amendment.  It is ban proof.

GnOtella -  A Gnutella clone with cool skinss. For those who would like an alternate user interface.

Gnucleus - A good basic gnutella clone.

Gnute - A nice website client that allows you to search a web based network. Just type in a search.

Gnutmeg - A peer-to-peer distributed file sharinng system not unlike Gnutella. It is similar to Napster, but there is no central server. The reference implementation is in Java 1.1 and has a simple command line interface, and uses regular expressions.

I-Mesh - A search tool that lets you locate andd download audio, image, and video files from the Web. The files you search for are located on the computers of other iMesh users. They have agreed to share their files with other people in the iMesh community. Searches can be conducted either from within the iMesh application, or through the iMesh Web site. iMesh searches only the files located on the computers of other members of the iMesh community.

KazaA -  KaZaA is a distributed, self-orgganizing network and one of Europe's most promising p2p services. KaZaA aims at solving problems other programs generate like slow search results, failed downloads and limited search results. KaZaA is similar to gnutella by offering all media types to be shared, including web based searching capabilities.

Konspire - A new distributed file-sharing system featuring fast, exhaustive searches and modest network bandwidth requirements. Version 1.0 available. Written in Java 1.1

Limewire - A cross-platform software tool that ennables peer-to-peer file sharing on the Gnutella Network. Similar to the popular Napster service, it enables the sharing, searching, and downloading of MP3 music files. LimeWire, however, goes a step further by letting the user share and search for all types of computer files, including movies, pictures, games, text documents, recipes, and more. This latest version features tighter and more usable GUI real-estate, a smaller download size, various functionality improvements, and smarter, more aggresive file download.

OMNI - A new and wonderful program that combiines AIM, Yahoo Messnger, icq, napster, and Gnutella networks. It allows you to instant message and share files with anyone on those networks.

OnShare - Share and trade files with friends, faamily, and colleagues. Take control of your files at any time and from anywhere!

Punch WebGroups - A service that combines the benefit of universal access to files with the power of tracking and management tools to offer a better file collaboration and management environment. Smart teams and smart people use WebGroups to increase communication and productivity to get results.

Rapigator - A very highly rated napster on steroidds. Rapigator is what Napster will be when Napster, Inc. is gone. This program utilizes the resources of OpenNap, giving it much of the same feel as Napster

Riffshare - A JukeBox, Music Sharing tool and a Innternet Music Portal. RiffShare turns a network of computers on a LAN (must be on LAN) into a network of digital jukebox players, enabling instant sharing of music from computer to computer. Each RiffShare user has access to the music playlists of every other RiffShare user, so just as a you access your own content using artist, album, genre, and custom playlists, you can access content from any other machine on the network using the same lists.

Song Spy  - A music sharing program designed from the ground up to be the ultimate service of its kind. Swapoo - A file shareing for those of you who llove games cause thats mostly what you will find on this peer to peer network.

Swaptor - Swaptor encourages you to download andd install the FREE software now to become a key piece of the Swaptor community. It enables the creation of direct links between groups of user's computers, thus allowing easy of file sharing and the creation of communities for user's with like interests.

Toadnode - Another gnutella clone that looks cleaan and will show statistics.

Tripnosis - Interesting little client that has auttomatic resume and chat functions.

Webnap -  This is a web-based napster clieent that allows you to search the  opennap, napster and mynapster networks.  It is not for the novice.  The connections are reliable and download speeds are acceptable.

Winmx - You have to try this one it will alloww you to connect to multiple servers. Opennap, napster and many other servers are included, but of a different flavor than Rapigator. It has a very nice looking interface and allows for resume.  Some of the things we liked best about WinMX were the easy setup, the great server list fetching feature, and the constant support. The one bummer was clicking on a search result and getting a "Busy"message.

Yo!nk - A distributed file community. When youu run Yo!NK you are joining a global community of other people that are sharing files (music, movies, archives, pictures) for you to download. Yo!NK connects to a public Internet chat server and starts communicating with other Yo!NK people. You search for a keyword just like a search engine and you will get a list of files that you can download. Select the files you would like and download away.
