The Institution

Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli (RECT), established in 1964, is now one of India's premier institutions for education in engineering. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in several fields :

Location

The RECT campus is located 17km (10mi) from Tiruchirapalli (or Trichy, as it is otherwise called) on the Thanjavur road. Two of the most prominent landmarks are Rockfort and the Srirangam temple
