At breakfast and lunch, Field Instructors announce which class group is attending their field study and what they might need to do to prepare themselves for it. These announcements can be spiced up with a field study song. Field study teams can take the tune of a popular song, and change the words to be about field study. The original song must be Outdoor School appropriate, and it really helps if at least most of the Student Leaders on the Animals team know the tune of the original song. Check out some of our past Animals Field Study songs using the pull-down menu above. If you are inspired to write your own, bring it to your week of Outdoor School, and remember to have it with you at the Monday night meeting.
