MALCOM YOUNG
Malcolm was born on January 6, 1953 in Glasgow, big brother of Angus, it leaves also the school very early to work. It is his/her big brother, George, who made him discover the art of the guitar, then is in his turn to show the way with his/her little brother, Angus, by offering that to him first acoustic guitar. Before forming AC/DC with his/her brother, Malcolm played in the group "The velvet underground". Malcolm has for influences the rolling stones and of the jazz such as Louis Armstrong. It is the brain of the group, and he wrote all the songs with his brother. Equipped with Gretsch Firebird with large cords, it is surely one of the best rhythmic guitarists in the world. Material With through all its career AC/DC, Malcolm its 1963 Gretsch JetFire Bird used (although for the promo of the video of YSMANL, it uses what seems to be semi-hollow Falcon white). In the promo of the Jailbreak clip, it plays on Gretsch color fushia with solid body. Lastly, on the video of Big Gun, it uses its Gretsch regular. This guitar was thus useful much, to believe that it made the return ticket between the hell and the ground. ... it thus survived three Monsters of Rock festivals inter alia. It has Filtertron attached in "bridge" position. Malcolm had not liked the fastener with the neck and it thus withdrew it (there is that 20 years already!) By the way, of the rgalges of the potards "Tone", "Volume" and "Master Volume". Malcolm never regulates them! Indeed, the positions of the potards "volume" and "tone" are always in positions "off". Gretsch de Malcolm is provided with cords 12-56 Gibson 900 ms. According to my information, these cords are very difficult to find. For "Plectra", Malcolm uses Fender extra heavy and of regular Erine Ball. The mdiators are celluloids extra heavy 1.21 MM color. It has logo AC/DC of dimensioned and its signature on the other. If you want to get a guitar of Malcolm, you can have one of them. If you did not know that Malcolm and Gretsch produced "Malcolm Young Signature Model", eh well, will know that there are various models: one with Flier' Tron record player in position "Bridge", and for the less demanding guitarists, Filtertron record player in "Bridge" and "Neck" positions. They are red with signal options appears maple (as for the #1 of Malcolm). You can see each one of it on Big Gun, Hard have has Rock, Cover you in Oil and Hail Ceasar. They have the potard volume on the cut, those of the agus and the tonality, low placed. Gretsch de Malcolm costs around $1,595.00. All that one can add to it would be the signature of Malcolm above! What I want to say by there, it is that a guitar at this price around $1,600.00 is not given and thus, the signature is essential. In this case, I am taking! Joe Perry (Aerosmith) made but its guitar is a nullity. The Malcolm model signed comes with cords 12-56s '. I had read that if the cords of this guitar are changed with another gauge, you lose much on the level of the adjustment of the tonality. This evening, I was likely to play with one of these guitars. It is sensational. I played with a model G6131MYF (a mdiator color maple). It is light, with body semi-hollow (I did not know it!). It weighs 2 kg approximately, the cords have a very heavy tie. This guitar has an exceptional resonance! I played the cord of and it reasoned indfiniement! This guitar has a tonality cracking but soft with little profit, but rather hot, enveloping tonality in its light. The neck is small (compared with the majority of Gibson) also, to plate an agreement of G major 9 is rather easy. The cords of power give single notes... really extraordinary guitar!. I believe that I will buy myself one of them. For the amplifiers, Angus and Malcolm use of Marshall. The boys prefer the old models. The principal amplifier of Angus is an old JTM 45. It uses it in studio and live. Into live, Angus makes to traverse amplifier of micro insulator finding under scene of concert, and which connects directly with system Pa When Angus wants a sound thicker, it uses an Amplifier 100 Watt. The amplifiers piled up on scene behind Angus and Malcolm are of the 1959 SLP 100 Watt (copies of the original Super Head Plexi). Each one of these amplifiers emits a power of two 4x12 cabs. Malcolm also uses in round of the Wizard amplifiers which are ordinary. Return All rights reserved - Highway To ACDC.com 2001-2005

Soundtrack for Maximum Overdrive) Who Made Who (1986) SINGLE: Who Made Who/Guns For Hire (1986) LIVE (1992) (Young, Young, Johnson) The video game says Play me Face it on a level but it takes you every time on a one on one Feeling running down your spine Nothing gonna save your one last dime cause it owns you Through and through The databank knows my number Says I gotta pay cause I made the grade last year Feel it when I turn the screw Kicks you round the world, there ain't a thing that it can't do Do to you CHORUS: Who made who, who made you? Who made who, ain't nobody told you? Who made who, who made you? If you made them and they made you Who picked up the bill, and who made who? (or who picked up the glue,...)(?) Who made who, who turned the screw? Satellites send me picture Get it in the eye, take it to the world (take it to the wire) spinning like a dynamo Feel it going round and round Running out of chips, you got no line in an 8-bit town So don't look down, no CHORUS Ain't nobody told you, who made who
