Welcome to my Arcade section. Here are some of the best Arcade games that I have ever played. They are mostly Neo-Geo titles at the moment, but as soon as I get some more pictures I will do some others.
Art of Fighting
One of the first SNK games that I played. It was great back then and still has its replay values. Like most SNK games the difficulty ranges from hard to impossible. The 3rd in the series is the best but I just prefer this one more.
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
The newest in the Fatal Fury series and probably the last SNK game to see a western release. The animation on this is superb and all the moves flow smoothly. The game is set 20? years after Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, with only Terry surviving to this title. The others are in it in some way, with there offspring taking their place. This is the title that shows that SNK really know their stuff when it comes to fighting games.
King of Fighters 96
The King of Fighters games first came out in 1994 and offered your normal 2D beat'um'up with the added bonus of having teams of 3 characters, fighting on untill they were beaten like survivor matches. KOF94 was also famous for having a virtually unbeatable end boss called Rugal, I won't bother going on about him as there are not enough swear words in the world. Anyway since then the KOF series has spawned a sequel every year, with 96 being the best in my opinion.
Metal Slug
All the Metal Slug games rule. When this game first came out it did not interest me but after playing it I was hooked. There is a sequel to this Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug X, which is a re-make of the 2nd game with extra weapons and bosses. Metal Slug 3 is out in Japan but due to SNK closing their offices it will never see the light of day outside of Japan.
Puzzle Bubble 2
This game is immensely addictive once you pick it up you won't put it down for weeks. Simple but effective game play, simply shoot bubbles matching the colours to clear the screen or beat your opponent. Wicked!!
