Umar asked " Was he not telling us that we would go to the Ka'aba and perform Tawaf around it?"
The reply was " Yes, but did he tell you that you would go to the Ka'aba this year?"
"No"
"You will go the Ka'aba and perfrom Tawaf around it"
This is why Allah the most high said " Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for his Messenger. Ye shall enter the Sacred mosque, if Allah wills ", to confirm the prophecy, not an exception " with minds secure", while you are entering, " heads shaved, hair cut short. "
This was their condition while entering which also validates the prophecy, " and without fear". According to Imam Ibn Kathir, the writer of the best exegisis of the Quran, the prophecy came true the very next year!
1) According to a saying recorded by Imam Muslim : The people of Iraq will receive no food and money due to oppression by the Romans (Europeans). This has come to pass in the form of unjust sanctions imposed on Iraq.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was quoted to have said " The Last Hour will not come upon us until the lands of the Arabs are once again pasture lands and filled with rivers" (Muslim)
The professor was aked who told the Prophet (pbuh) that Arabia was once green. He evasively replied "The Romans". When asked who told him (pbuh) about Arabia being green once again, he eventually replied, with some embarrassment " THIS COULD HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO HIM ONLY THROUGH REVELATION FROM ABOVE "
3) " Great distances will be travelled in a short amount of time" : Planes, trains and automobiles have made it possible to travel around the world in the same time it would take to ride a donkey from Washington D.C. to Baltimore !
