Each person is welcome to submit one (1) unpublished entry in each of the above categories. First, Second, and Third Places will be awarded in each category. Previously published material (in any media) is not acceptable.
Fiction manuscripts need to be inspired by the photo published for each month. See monthly links on home page. Fiction entries may not exceed "one word more or one word less than what it takes to tell the story." Create a title to correspond with the inspired theme. Suggested target length: 7,000 to 8,000 words or less.
Non Fiction manuscripts should be something from real life. See monthly links for guidelines and current monthly suggested title for this contest. Keep the word limit to less than 4,500.
Poetry is limited to 32 lines Excluding title, single space on a one page document. Poetry submissions should be written inspired by the photo published in monthly links on the home page.
Fantasy Let your imagination run wild. We all have fantasies and should live them in one form or another—safely without harming another person. Write about a fantasy that you have had and how it came true. Fantasy manuscripts should be kept to fewer that 2,500 words.
