| Current Events THIS WEEK Monday, Nov. 5: End of 2nd 6-weeks grading period. Wednesday, Nov. 7: Bank Day. Friday, Nov. 9: Report Cards go home (Student Recognition Assembly will not be until Tuesday, Nov. 14 due to other scheduled events.) UPCOMING EVENTS Parents Day dates: On these dates parents are invited to eat lunch with their children for a special time together. Lunch will be served at 11:00 on these days. Nov. 9-Kindergarten (THIS FRIDAY) Nov. 16 - Pre-K & Headstart November 12: 9:00 a.m. - Veterans Day Program in the gym. November 19: Santa Pictures will be made. November 20: 1:15 p.m. Thanksgiving Program in the gym. December 11: 7:00 p.m. - Christmas Program (this is a change in date). December 20: Students will be dismissed at noon. |

| At Home Spelling practice: Try this unique twist on helping your child with spelling words. Let your child be the teacher and call out spelling words to you. As you write the words down, your job is to misspell some words on purpose. The goal? For your child to find and correct spelling errors. |
