The Dreamworld’s a world in which Ancients dwell, in which Faeries all too often decide they aren’t short and think humans good for nothing but getting eaten and promptly eat you.

While the Dreamworld sucks you in, or might spit you out, the Dreamworld has no control over the things in it or the things that happen; hey man, it’s just the evil world that sucks people into it. But, if you die there, you stay dead. You see, the place isn’t just evil, it’s got a whole bunch of evil people in it (for example, Morgan Le Fey, this witch who’s bent on getting Kaie in her bed, and she’s not the worst of them, either), most of whom want either Gwynt, Kaie, or Gwyn dead.

Not a happy place, and probably the most likely where you’ll ever see a leprechaun dance and then get homicidal on you.

Kaie (17): He’s from an ancient lineage, one of the Seven Clans which helped to seal the Faerie folk off into the Dreamworld. Sadly, he’s been cursed to be a Dreamer (one who enters the Dreamworld when they sleep) until he completes a few tasks. The first of which being finding those who will give him those tasks.

He’s in love with Gwyn (have you ever seen those green eyes go all wide when he looks at her? he’s MOONING).

Likes: Soft rock, steak, the color green, bagpipes, whiskey, Gwyn and soccer

Dislikes: Rap, veggie burgers, the color yellow, tambourines, lemonade, jocks, Callan

Gwyn (17): Hopelessly in love with Kaie and very, very pretty. She’s got very light blonde hair and a damn good voice, which she uses to her advantage in claiming that she and Gwynt, her twin brother, are heirs of Taliesin. Her name comes from Gwendolyn, which means "white brow".

Likes: to sing, to dance, the color blue, Kaie.

Dislikes: Kaie when he’s being a twit, Devin, Callan, dragons, nearly dying

Gwynt (17): Gwyn’s twin brother and Kaie’s best friend. He’s a good tenor, not too high but not too low. Has a dry sense of humor and is pretty good about jokes. He jokes when he’s nervous. He’s the narrator, and enjoys a good bit of Devin-bashing. Carries a sword forged by Wayland Smith in the Dreamworld.

Likes: rap, steak, Kaie, Taliesin, Cu Chulainn, water, swimming, singing, Devin, working out, swords

Dislikes: Devin, bad coffee, hamburgers, McDonald’s, fake Irish people, jerks, jocks, Callan, staves

Devin (16): The poet, and definitely the mysterious one. He’s one of the many people Kaie protects from the more popular crowd. As a result, he feels grateful to Kaie and is often silent, preferring to obey orders. While not athletic (at ALL) in the real world, he’s gained a rather impressive arsenal of physical skills in the Dreamworld. He aches to find out if they carry over.

Dislikes: bad movies, stupid poetry, cursive, coffee, Kaie, Gwynt, Callan

Callan (who knows how old the dude is?): Callan’s name means "to scream" and that’s what he does. All he ever says is in a scream. For some reason, a bunch of Elders decided that Callan should protect Kaie. He would have killed Gwyn and Gwynt, had Kaie not interfered. He now guards Kaie and company out of loyalty and friendship, and genuinely regards Gwynt with awe. Sadly, because of his constant screaming, nobody really likes him.

Basically, they’re wandering around, trying to get out.
