December 2011- June 2012
Pharmacy Assistant
Location : Medicine Chest Pharmacy Petaling Jaya
I started working in 2011. It was after I had my Sijil Pelajaran Tinggi (SPM) examination. I decided to work as a pharmacy assistant in one of the pharmacy store near my house. I gained a lot of experience working there. One of it is I learn how to communicate with customers. This is important in order to fullfill their needs. I also learn how to work in a group. This is because, there are 3 other staffs working with me. We manage to do our daily tasks successfully because of corporation from each of the staff. I also learn how to manage stock in the store. In the end of every month, I do stock check. Each of the item in the store were checked and recorded.
December 2013 - February 2014
Sales Assistant
Location : Cosway Pharmacy Petaling Jaya
After Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) Examination, I once again decided to work. In December 2013, I worked as a sales assistant in Cosway Pharmacy Petaling Jaya. Cosway Pharmacy is a franchise type business. This franchise have branches all over Malaysia. As I worked here, I gained a lot of experiences and skills. One of it is how to tackle customer buying Cosway products. Most of the products sold at Cosway Pharmacy are medications and supplements. So, I always advise customers to buy any goods that suitable as their search. I didn't handle customer with emotion. I give all the information that a customer should know before buying the product. One of my job description is handling cash from customers. I sucessfully manage cash from customers everyday. If there is any promotion in the store, I will inform customers everytime they came to the store or by phone call. By doing this, the company profit will increase day by day. I decided to quit my jod in February 2014 because I got an offer from Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Petaling Utama to work as a replacement teacher.
February 2014 - May 2014
Replacement Teacher
Location : SK (2) Petaling Jaya
In February 2014, I started worked as a replacement teacher at Sekolah Kebangsaan 2 Petaling Jaya. I was replacing one of the Pendidikan Islam teacher because she is on maternity leave. Working as a teacher helps me a lot on how to control my emotion. This is because, handling children from standard 1 until standard 6 needs a lot of patience. I also learn how teach children that suitable with their standards. I managed to control the students either in their academic or cocuricular activities. As a teacher, preparation before teaching is important. So, I did a lot of research and study before I enter my class. I also learned how to be on time. This is because, I need to be on time come to class in order to teach my students based on the schedule given. In May 2014, my contract as a replacement teacher end.
August 2014 - October 2014
Replacement Teacher
Location : SK (2) Petaling Jaya
In August 2014, I got an offer from the headmistress of Sekolah Kebangsaan 2 Petaling Jaya, Pn Jamaliah. I once again was offered as a replacement teacher. I was replacing a Bahasa Malaysia teacher as she is on maternity leave. Teaching in the same school as before make me more confident in doing my jobs. I love my job because I have passion in teaching. I am more prepared to teach my students. I also became more creative in teaching skills. I did a lot of art work with the students because children are usually doesn't like formal teaching style. For me, teaching with several techniques and skills will be more succesful rather than teaching in a formal style. This is because, the students will not get bored easily. They can play and at the same time learn about something related to the topics. I decided to quit my job early from the actual date because I got an offered from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) to continue my study in Bachelor Degree level
