"I can't believe we leave for tour in a month and a half!" Shelby brought up as she put her fork down and wipped her mouth with her napkin.  "I know. You're gonna have your hands full," I commented.  "Yeah, Sean," Shelby sighed while rubbing her temples.  I put my hand over her left one on the table as to comfort her. "Shelby, I envy you so much. You have so much courage. If I were you I wouldn't fallen apart by now," I told her and she looked up at me as a tear tickled won her cheek.  "But I have fallen apart! Every night when I creep down to your room!"  "No. No, you haven't! You're just letting it all out. All the pain and fear, that's all."  Shelby just looked up at me unsure and let out a deeo breath.  "You wanna dance?" I questioned and she wipped her eyes quickly.  "Yeah," Shelby mumbled taking my hand as we stood up. I led her onto the dance floor and I put my arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around my neck and we swayed to the slow instrumental music. Shelby's head with to the nape of my neck and I could feel her body start to shake. She was crying, I knew it and If felt so bad for her. All I could do was hold her, though. I massaged her back softly and she stared up at me.  "Can we go? Please?"  "Yeah." I reached out and dried the tears on her cheeks with my thumbs. I put some money in the reicpit book and we strolled out of the resturant.  "I had another surprise for you tonight, but I can always take you ther some other time," I replied as the limo pulled up infront of us.  "No, I want to go there." shelby climbed in the limo with me following.  "Okay, but I'm not giving you an hints." I pulled a blindfold from my pocket. "You have to wear this."  "You're serious?" She gave me a look of disbelief.  "Yep." I put it over her eyes as the black limo came to a hault. The door beside Shelby came open and the driver helped her out as I exited through te other one and hurried over to her side with a blanket under my arm.  "Nick???" she mumbled reaching our for me.  "I'm right here, Shel." I took hold her hand and walked to a spot just before the shore line.  "I'm gonna let go of your hand, but I'm right here." I took my hand from her's and unfolded the black blanket onto the sand.  "Are we at the beach?" she whispered.  "Yeah. Maybe I should've gotten ear plugs, too," I joked sitting on the ground.  "No, I think it's sweet."  "Good. I just wanted to cheer you up!" I pulled her down beside me and she went to pull the blindfold off.  "Not so fast!" I pulled her hands from her face.  "Nick!" Shelby whinned.  "Just chill!" I slipped off her sandels and then took off my socks and shoes. I then stood up and pulled her up with me.  "You're starting to scare me, Nick," she said as I walked her to the shoreline.  "Yeah, yeah! It's gonna be cold so prepare yourslef!" I warned stepping into the chilly ocean water.  "Crap!" Shelby yelped.  "I told you!" I laughed.  "Oh, shut-up!" I reached over and pulled the blindfold from her beautiful face. She squinted adjusting her eyes to the night and looked up at me. "Thank you!"  "You're welcome, your rudeness!" I smirked.  "Rudeness?!" Shelby protested putting her hands on her hips.  "Yeah!"  "How was I rude?"  "Well, lets see...you told me to shut up and said I scare you. Quit frankly I consider that rude!" I tried my hardest not to laugh. It was funny how her bottom lip stuck out as she pouted.  "You're the rude one!"  "And how's that, Shel?"  "You...you...ah blindfolded me and wouldn't tell me where you were taking me!" she stuttered at first trying to think. I burst out laughing and she glared at me.  "What' so funny?"  "Y...you!"  "You are so mean!" She hit me upside the lightly.  "Ut oh! Now you're gonna get it!" I took off running after her.  "Ahhhh! Come on, Nick!" She screamed running a few feet infront of me.  "Okay! Fine!" I stopped running as she turned around.  "You're serious?" she asked unsure.  "No!" She took off running again, but I caught up to her and tackled her to the ground with me landing on top her and she met my gaze. I looked from her eyes to her lips then back up at her eyes. Our faces moved together slowly until we were interrupted by the ringing of a cell phone. I climbed off her blushing and helped her up.  "It's your's 'cause I brought my pager," I mumbled. She dusted herself off as she pick up her purse and I folded the blanket.
