The Story:
Since we only saw about an 11 second clip demo of the game, it’s kind of hard for us to know much about it. What we do know is that the previous Zeldas were great and we’re looking forward to seeing what this game has to offer. What we saw was a preview of the continuation of the epic battle between Link and Ganondorf.

The Characters:
It looks clear that Nintendo has really worked hard on making this next extension to the Zelda series a real eye-opener. Although some people might think that these characters were made merely to impress people with what they can do in a little action sequence. We can be almost positive that Nintendo wouldn’t do this just for hype. If you’re a real Zelda fan, you can look forward to the characters to have great detail and immaculate facial expressions. Just like the image of our hero Link. Yet again we see Ganondorf to be the central enemy in this upcoming thriller. Now, although we can’t be totally sure that he will be the main evil in this game, we can probably look forward to him being an important character with all the care that Nintendo took to detail Ganondorf. You’ll notice that his face was changed a little, for the better I might add. He looks a little less like the hobgoblin he was on the N64 version. But he now has the evil look in his eyes that shows the true, twisted, being he is. We can safely say that he is now, the King of the Gerudo Thieves.

So what do you think so far? This demo shows a lot of what the Gamecube is capable of doing. Take the lighting for instance. When you carefully watch the battle scene, you notice that Link’s sword reflects the surroundings. When he’s about to strike Ganondorf, you’ll notice that Link’s sword reflects the flame that’s on a nearby wall. Even the shadows of the characters are superbly done. And on top of that, the animation runs fluid. Without any skips or jumps in the scene, it almost looks real. We can expect a lot from the Gamecube and from Nintendo in upcoming titles.
