WarningSum:...A Severe Thunderstorm Warning Remains In Effect Until 745 Am Cdt
For Northern Dallas...Southwestern Collin And Southeastern Denton
Counties...
Warning Message:At 724 am CDT...National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing penny size hail...and
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 4 miles
southeast of Addison...moving east at 15 mph. A second severe
thunderstorm was located over the southeast corner of Denton County
near Hebron...also moving east at 15 mph.

WarningSum:...A Flash Flood Warning Remains In Effect Until 845 Am Cdt For
Dallas County...
Warning Message:At 700 am CDT...National Weather Service meteorologists detected
thunderstorms with heavy rain 3 miles southeast of Addison...moving
southeast at 25 mph. A second area of thunderstorms with heavy rain
was located just east of downtown Dallas and near Mesquite and
Sunnyvale....moving east at 15 mph.
Radar and rain gaue reports indicate that 3 to 4 inches of rain has
already fallen across parts of Dallas County and the city of Dallas
since Wednesday evening. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain will be
possible across parts of Dallas County between 7 am and 845 am CDT.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the Road to
unknown depths. It only takes two feet of rushing water to carry away
most sport utility vehicles and pickups. Take a different Route to
reach your destination or wait until the water recedes. Remember...
most flood related deaths occur in automobiles.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the White Rock creek near Dallas White Rock.
* Until this evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0515 am Thursday the stage was 72.77 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 84.0 feet.
* Forecast...the river should rise above flood stage by Thursday
morning and continue to rise to a crest near 85 feet by Thursday
morning. The river should fall below flood stage by late Thursday
morning.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 85.3 feet on Sep 29 1980.
