THE MAN, knowing little about computers, on my 20th birthday I said "I wonder how hard it is to get a
loan?" Ten minutes later I was sitting in a First Union Bank. The manager approached, unsure about me; long
hair, Nine Inch Nails t-shirt, and dress slacks!. She cautiously asked "Your curious about a loan?"
I jumped up and said "Hi, i'm Geoff. I want to buy a computer. I don't have any money. Can you help?"
Thirty-five minutes later I had two grand in my pocket, and was on my way to the nearest place that sold
computers -- WALMART! In the short three months before my computer went obsolete two great things in the
computer world came to pass. One, The World Wide Web kicked in, Netscape Navigator 2.0 was unleashed, and
commanded the information super highway with animated graphics. And two, games. Games that would give little
junior nightmares, the now legendary classics, DOOM and DIABLO -- I was now a reborn gamer.

THE MYTH, from the dawn of my time in computers, the inspiration flow value turned on and I was
receiving mass doses of information. Finally, a knowledge base superior to that of the library, in that all
information was available -- nothing checked out! Content flooded electric medium daily, and it was that
content that shaped the creature that now types this.
Not only was this and exciting time, it was also a time of risk. Many people were threatened for copyright
infringement, material not suited for all ages, and for revealing the secrets of the electric sages, but hey,
this was all new, and the laws couldn't keep up with our advances sweeping the globe. Sites would be torn one
day and placed back up next, under a new identity. It was electronic anarchy, and I was among the masses
burning the censorship flag, screaming electronic characters out at those how would oppress us. The war was
on, and it was only the beginning...

THE LEGEND IS BORN HERE. With many ambitions, my first and foremost drive was to be a filmmaker,
because my nature is to create. It never really mattered what I created, a story, a illustration, a painting,
a song, a statue, or a photograph. I was prone to any and all forms of art expression, but only one form of
expression held all forms in equal light -- films. Like all things, films are going digital, and so am I.
So, currently I am at Valencia to acquire a A.S. Degree in Information Technologies, to complement, and back
my previous experience in the computer field. Computer knowledge is big bucks, filmmaking cost big bucks,
and this is my way for one love to pay for the other.
