" All right, Jeff, your turn!" Drew taunted. Everyone was glad to see that he had all but forgotten about Kylee.
Jeff got up and did his own rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Everyone was laughing hysterically. By the time Jeff was done, there were tears in everyone's eyes, and sides hurt bad.
"All right, I pick.... Ayzlin!" Jeff exclaimed. "C'mon, girlie. Your turn." He pushed her up there.
"You guys pick a song," she said. Ayzlin was not sure she knew what she was doing.
"Okay," Justin said," how about "Candy" from Mandy Moore?"
"Whatever," Ayzlin shrugged. Justin put it in and the music started. Ayzlin picked up the microphone, and then she started to sing. Justin, Nick, Jeff and Drew's jaws all dropped open. She finished out her song, and then sat down with a piece of pizza.
"All righty then. Bubby, your turn," Ayzlin decided. "C'mon, go."
"What?" Nick said, coming out of his daze. "Oh yeah, okay. Um, Ayzlin would you mind going to get some more pop from the kitchen. I won't start till you get back."
She shrugged and got up. Nick waited until she was out of earshot.
"Guys, was it just me, or is that her hidden talent?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, that's her hidden talent," Justin said, still amazed.
"What are we going to do about this? We can't let this stay here in Cinncinnati," Jeff told them.
"Yeah," Drew agreed.
"We're not going to do anything," Nick told them. "Not yet anyway. We need to talk to her parents before we say anything to her."
They all nodded in agreement, just as she returned.
"Hey, sorry it took me so long. I had to go downstairs to get the pop, there was none up here," Ayzlin apologized.
"No sweat," Justin pardoned.
They finished off the night with all five of them doing a harmony type thing. They sat around and ate pizza, till it was all gone. Ayzlin helped clean up and Drew went with her to her house, even though it was right across the street.
"So, Drew, are you feeling better?" Ayzlin asked.
"Yeah, I guess. I know Kylee and I can work our problems out. And if breakup is how we solve our problems, then that's how it gets worked out. There's gotta be the one for me out there somewhere."
Ayzlin nodded as they reached her front porch. "I'm glad it's going somewhat better. If you ever wanna talk, you know I'm here for you right?"
"I know. Thanks," Drew said as he hugged her. "Soccer tomorrow?"
"Yup, I'll see you tomorrow."
Drew bid her goodbye, and she quietly let herself in the house. She took a deep breath.
/Drew? No way/
