What do you do when you come? |
|
|
| |
-
First thing is greet your pets, put the mail and newspapers in their
proper place, and take the dogs outside.
-
Next, it’s mealtime.
While the pets are eating, I check the home for tipped over
furnishings, accidents, and anything I feel may pose a hazard to
your pets while they’re alone.
-
Once mealtime is over, I wash the
pets’ dishes and, if opted, take the dogs on a walk.
-
The rest of
the time we play or cuddle, depending on what your pets want to do.
-
Right before I leave, the dogs are let outside again and, if needed,
the trash bins are set out for pick-up.
-
For pets that don’t require walks and being let outside, we mainly
just socialize. We converse, and animals are pet, played with, and
cuddled. Most horses are pretty content walking together in the
pasture, getting their ears scratched and being brushed. Ferrets
and other rodents (rabbits, hamsters, etc.) love interactive
playtime.
If you have never used a pet sitter before, ask about
our “demo” visit to better illustrate what your specific visit will
entail.

How far in advance should I schedule a reservation? |
|
|
| |
Scheduling your
reservation 1-2 months in advance is ideal, but is not required nor
is it always realistic.
Keep in mind that during peak business times, such as Christmas and summer vacation
months,
the earlier your reservation is placed, the better the chances are
that your dates and times are available. Services needed on short
notice may or may not be available.
