Henrietta Marie:
Journey To The Past

Part of the reality of U.S. history is the Slave Trade.  The Middle Passage
is the name given to the trade routes used to carry human cargo from Africa to the Caribbean and the U.S.  The legacy of The Middle Passage is one of sorrow, strength, discovery, and recovery.    The goal here is to let you see how slavery and the Triangle Trade affected our country and how it still affects us.  There are very few artifacts of actual slave ships, but you and your team of archeologists and historians have heard news of The Henrietta Marie.  This actual slave ship has left behind many treasures of truth.  Your job is to recover these artifacts and do historical research on these items for the museum you work with.
