A Latch Speed
Latch control allows extra speed to be gained in the final stage of door closing to
overcome the resistance of the door latch, door seals, or to overcome
wind resistance or airtightness -without slamming. Also allows unlatched door to be closed quietly.
B Sweep Speed
The sweep control adjusts and regulates the speed of the door through the main
arc of the closing sweep to suit individual needs.
C Back Check - 70-180 degree (BC)
Back check control provides a strength adjustable braking action -
from about 90 degree to help prevent damage to door or wall if the door
is opened with undue force. Door stops may still be needed
D Delayed Action - 180-70 degree (DA)
When the door is opened beyond approx. 70 degree, an integral delay function slows down
the closing action for a period, to allow convenient passage through the opening.
This feature is paticularly useful for hospitals, retirement homes and similar situations.
