My Two Dads is an independent rock band based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They draw their inspiration from a wide variety of sources, including The White Stripes, The Doors, David Bowie, and even many films.The band is comprised of Galen "Cockroach" Pendleton, Marilyn "Chunk" Porayko, and Indy "Noodles" Randhawa.
The band members met on the set of the film House O Da Damned 13 , which Galen directed, Indy wrote, and Marilyn starred in. They quickly became partners in crime, and eventually their musical talents inspired them to form a band. Before discovering the percussive talents of Marilyn, Galen and Indy had a band known as RPO, or Randhawa Pendleton Overdrive. Legend has it that the band was formed when Indy read his lyrics, and an impressed Galen exclaimed "let's start a rock band and make a million dollars." |
