After over 4 years, I finally returned to my ethnic homeland. Fortunately, I had a chance to visit some of my favorite places while I was there. Below are photos from only a small slice of what this incredible country has to offer.

Near Nahalat Binyamin is Shook HaKarmel, which is a market with all kinds of fresh food and cheap goods.

Right in the place where he was shot, is a touching memorial to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. The rocks represent the ground rupturing upon his death. The words on the wreath read: "Remember and Remind". Many believe that the day Rabin was killed was the day the hope for peace was killed.

My favorite scenic spot in Israel is Ein Gedi. There lies two rivers which cut through the heart of the desert to the Dead Sea. This view is from close to Sea Level overlooking the Dead Sea from my drive to Ein Gedi.

Of course, I could not leave Israel without a hike! So I ventured onto a trail which follows Nahal Arugot, which is one of the two rivers in Ein Gedi.
