In reality, I only saw a small part of Chile, but I am sure that it must have been one of the regions with the most intense beauty on the continent. The photos below outline my journey to an 8-day trek in the Patagonian park of the Torres Del Paine.

The trip started with a relaxing day in Santiago. Next,
we moved on to Puerto Natales. The city where trips to the Torres
park are launched.
After a short day hike, and almost no rest, we
started our second day at one of the most spectacular views in the park -
the Torres massifs themselves.
We hiked through beautiful fields which
eventually became marsh and then finally ice-cold rivers. Day 2 was 44km long and we ended the day
wet and absolutely exhausted!
Day 3 had a slow but sunny start. We had
barely recouped before heading out for a 7-hour day.
