After the punishing journey in Chile, I sought refuge in Argentina. My travels took me from a Patagonian glacier down to the Southern-most city in the world, Ushaia and finally up to beautiful and exciting Buenos Aires - a truly wonderful place.

After a day in a mountains, we checked out the
local prison museum. Ushuaia has an interesting history...
2001 was brought in with style. A roasted
lamb and a rowdy group made for an amazing evening. What would we do
without the Brits?
Off to Buenos Aires I went.
A rare moment of silence in the early morning
streets of Buenos Aires.
