Chakras are seen as energy centres on the body which emit a certain coloured light which extends into your aura. There are seven main chakras on the body which correspond to different human attributes which will be explained below. The chakras are used and may aid in spell work. The chakras a person uses depends on what kind of spell is being casted. The colours listed below are suggestions only and may be replaced by colours that you feel more comfortable with.
Root Chakra
The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine and is usually associated with the colour deep red or maroon. This then relates to your life forces, your physical self and to groundedness.
Sex Chakra
The Sex Chakra is found just above the pubic line and has the colour clear orange. This relates to sexuality and creativity.
Solar Plexus Chakra
The Solar Plexus Chakra is located between the bottom of the ribcage and above the navel and its colour is bright yellow. This corresponds to power, passion and personality.
Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra is located at the heart and corresponds to the colour soft light green. This denotes love, friendship and emotions.
Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is located at the throat and has the colour azure blue. It correspondes to healing, communication and expression.
Brow Chakra
The Brow Chakra or Third-Eye Chakra is positioned between the brows and is associated with the colour dark indigo blue. It is related to psychic energies, intuition and visualisation.
Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is positioned at the top of the head and corresponds to the colour white or light violet. This denotes wisdom, spirituality and universal connection.
