Conduct and Behavior
As Proprietor of this room, I am expanding on the original guidelines set forth by Dragon Lord. One should not see these as 'rules' but as general guidelines so all may enjoy the room equally.
It is expected, those of you who are reading this are mature enough to comply with the general premise of this room and the guidlines there of. If this is something you feel is beyond you, please feel free to find another room more suitable to your needs and liking.
Of course being a public chat room it is difficult to enforce these guidelines, and being realistic enforcement should not be neccesary. Alas, there are a few who live to disrupt, to those few the option of ignore is always available to be utilized.
1. This is NOT a role play room in the sense that many have become used to. Instead, it (role play) is used to enhance conversation and lighthearted fun. Melodramatics are not needed. Many have 'character names' and profiles they choose to chat under, while others do not. Drinks are served from an imaginary bar, Guests may enjoy the warmth of a fire, or sit in the rafters. Knights, Dragons, Wolves, vampires, fairies, elves, etc. are all part of the charm of the room.
We do not follow Lycosian Role Play rules. There is no such thing as I.C. (In character) and O.O.C. (out of character) within the Vintage Tavern. Fighting and Killing in the Vintage Mystic Tavern is prohibited. This Tavern is definitely a N.K.Z. (no kill zone). Although from time to time a demonstration or spar is enjoyed. This is permissable if there is no blood shed and it is done for the sport, not in anger.

2. All are welcome in the tavern. Greet people as they come in, and welcome new comers. Please explain to them what this tavern is about and/or lead them to these guidelines. You never know if a new comer will be your next greatest friend.

3. Treat everyone with equal RESPECT unless they deem unworthy of such honors. Foul language, sexual harassment, discrimination, racism, and Crimes (rape, murder, robbery) are not acceptable and will not be tolerated by any means. If you have a personal grief with another Tavern Visitor please settle it within P.M. (private message) or another room. Do not bring personal arguments into the tavern.

4. The Tavern is not a 'pick-up joint' or a 'meat market'. It (The Tavern) is a sex free zone. If the desire or urge should happen to befall two people then, out of respect for yourself and others, remove it from public viewing. The asking of Age, Sex, and Location (A/S/L) on main screen is not acceptable within the walls of the Tavern or the area thereof. If some one is bothering you in in PM or on main screen bring it to the attention of others in the room. Hopefully they will come to your aid.

5. If some one is sharing a poem, writing, or Jokes please refrain from on screen posting until the person has finished. When a person enters the tavern, please warn them that a poem, joke, or writing is being spoken in p.m., so the person will not be disturbed. This is a matter of courtesy that all are expected to repect.
