One of the hardest things I have ever had to do is talk about myself. I can go on for hours about my family, my boys or my causes.

My name is Brenda Kelleher and I was born on May 19th, 1960 (yikes). Proud of my Irish heritage as well as being a true Canadian. As you can see from my picture I am a BBW and am content with myself and my life. There is no greater joy than learning to love yourself for who you are. The shell like a book cover tells only a small part of the story. I have been very fortunate in having a wonderful supportive family and friends who accept me without judging me.

Living in the Mega-city of Toronto has enabled me to meet many people from the Tavern. I met Jason (Lord Shadow Knight) in the Tavern many years ago and after chatting so much on line we finally met in real life on June 30 1999. We fell in love and have been together ever since. So if you should happen to be in the neighborhood let us know, we are always eager to meet new people and can ready in an instant to pull up our socks and party, or to lend an ear or even a shoulder if need be. Just remember some basic safety precautions when meeting anyone you meet on line.. Not everyone can be trusted at face value. Unfortunately there are people who will decieve you and use and abuse you if you are not careful. ( I will be making a new web page dealing with this issue in the near future.)

When not on line in the Tavern or working on my web pages I am busy with my family or one of the many organizations I am involved with. I have always been an active member in the co-op where I live. Currently I am on the board of directors and act as staff liason, as well as doing what ever else has to be done. ( Any one who has ever lived in a co-op knows that there is never a shortage of things to be done.) I have also served on the board of directors at LAMP ( a community health centre) for the last eight years. I currently hold the position of secretary. I also act as a coordinator for Feild to Table an organization geared to making fresh fruits and vegetables more accessable and affordable. I have always believed in giving back to the community and have always volunteered my time and my skills. Being involved in my community I have found myself being an advocate for social justice focussing on human rights, poverty issues, assisting others and lobbying for political and social change.

My greatest acheivements in my life to date are my two sons, Nicholas and Timothy. I won't say it has always been easy being a single mom and trying to be both Mother and Father to two very active and trying (and very loveable) boys, but the joy and pride I have for them out weigh all the hard ships. It is important to try and teach by example and to try and instill morals and values into our children. They are our future and will take over where we leave off.

It must also be mentioned I could not have raised them with out the support I have received from my family and good friends. THANKYOU.

Being Irish and having a large family does not always go hand in hand but in my case it does. I have four lovely sisters, three brother in laws, one neice and five nephews. And an extended family that is far to extensive to try to get into here. I have a web page under construction detailing my Mothers side of the family "The O'Keeffe Clan" drop by and have a look if your interested.
