Mystic Order of Druids
About Us
The
Mystic Order of Druids is a closed order with many of the core group working
together since early 2000ce.
We view ourselves as a Family - one people, united by ties of loyalty, honesty,
honour and visions, ideals of justice and courage, united by love and respect
of each other and the Land. Our Grove/Order is our family, and our members, our
Clan. We honour life, Land, Heritage and each other.
We search for that which brings us together, rather than for that which separates
us. We recognize that Spirit lives both within and without not only ourselves,
but the Land beneath us and everything on it - flowing like waters that gives
us all life. Each person of the group is different and each brings something
unique with them, we are like leaves stemming from different branches but connected
to the solid trunk of the same tree. We work both with and for the Land, each
other and others.
The
Mystic Order of Druids recognises the three traditional areas of Druidic
practice – these being Bard, Ovate and Druid – not as one
leading to the other but as three separate ways each of which may lead
to another and all of equal standing in their own right, we see Druidry
as a way of learning, living and growing, a philosophy in how you treat
yourself, others and things around you that walks alongside our own
personal beliefs within Paganism with Awen as wind of Spirit bringing
inspiration.
We are Keepers, Elders, Guardians, Healers, Workers, Watchers, Teachers,
Learners, LandsFolk, Pagans - but more importantly we are each Ourselves.
