Dragons
There are many
references to Dragons throughout history. In the dark ages man was sent to
slay the great beast. Women were sacrificed to them. The Bible
refers to the creature in many locations.
"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red
dragon. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. . . . And they worshiped the
dragon" (Revelation 12: 3,9;13: 4).
Were the dragons
mention in the Bible actually Dinosaurs . We know that dinosaurs existed there
are many examples of there existence . From Fossils to their tracks left
in the mud to become a fossil over time.

150 millions years ago, hundreds
of dinosaurs inhabited the area that is now the Purgatoire River Valley.
Southeastern Colorado at that time was dominated by a vast freshwater
lake. As the dinosaurs plodded through the mud along the edge of this
lake, they left behind vast trails of footprints in the soupy muck.
Later, these muddy flats were buried and turned to stone. Today, over
1,300 of these footprints are exposed at the Picketwire Canyonlands
dinosaur tracksite.

Hello
I am wondering if this fits the description of paranormal. I have
noticed the main conversation on this board is about ghosts etc.
In 1997 my
husband and I both sighted a huge creature flying over a densely populated area,
while we were out walking one night in Western Australia on the
coastline.
This creature could not be written off as a bird as it was bigger
than any bird on the planet, it did not flap it's wings (just glided on the air
current), it had a ruddy reddish brown leathery skin and no feathers; (we could
see it's underneath as it flew over us about 300ft up; the glow from all the
ground lighting made that possible), it had a long tail and a wingspan that we
estimated at between 30-50ft across.
We have speculated much over the years
as to what it may have been. It made no sound and did not flap it's wings. The
creature appeared to know where it was heading.....and just flew in the
direction from North to South paralell to the coastline.
This creature was
huge and never in my life have I ever seen anything that remotely resembled it
until I found a page of Pterosaurs over the last few days.
I have speculated
over the years that the creature came out of another dimension, or they have
always been here only our perceptions blind us from the reality of
them.
Today on a trip with my husband and son we talked about that sighting
and something else came to mind; these creatures have always been here in remote
places; but maybe their numbers are increasing and they have to search farther a
field for food.
I have also read over the last few days that we are not the
only people who have seen these type of creatures.
I tried to ring a UFO line
in Western Australia at the time but no one answered the telephone, so I gave
up. With family life taking precedence, the sighting was pushed aside as who do
you report these sightings to anyway??
Something else came to mind just
now....are these creatures flying too low for the Airforce Radar? If not then
the airforce would know of their existence. The governments must know?? So why
is it that they are kept secret and people who see them ridiculed?
If a
creature that size is flying the night sky then it could be dangerous to
humans....it must have a huge appetite. People should be made aware of their
existence. Extinct!!.....they are not extinct!! We both saw that creature on a
clear night, with the sky filled by starlight, and ground lighting.
My
husband works in a scientific field and he observed it and took in much more
about it than I did....I was more gaping and saying "what the hell is that!" We
watched this creature glide on down the coastline until it was just a little dot
on the horizon in the distance, which was about 5 minutes.
Being a middle
aged couple who abhor the spotlight, we were not going to go to newspapers and
leave ourselves open for ridicule.
Australia is a vast country and who
knows what could be out there in all that wilderness!
Has anyone who
frequents these boards seen anything that resembles what we saw, or know of any
websites where I can obtain more information? I got this link from About Com

Was the creature that was seen in Australia
that of a pterodactyl or was it that of a dragon.
Our society has in trusted us to
use our imagination to develop many things. Movies have glamorized the existence
of such things Dragonslayer, Dragon Heart and Reign of Fire are just examples of
how our society views the dragon.
During the Time of Merlin the
dragon was a sacred creature capable of changing the world around it.
Merlin used the dragon several times to help with spells he casted.
You make the choice on whether the
dragon is actually the dinosaur. But I have came to the conclusion, that
they are one and the same.
