I want my senses completely alive in this

or less I forget it is a dream
I could break into million pieces and
never care to put them back together
I could run farther than my mind will be conscious of
reality slipping, release the day, release myself
I could shake the world
an imitation of a god laughing,
I could touch the face of god just to see if it wore a smile
I could tame the soft lips of the horizon
as they open wide across the perimeter of my eyes
I could learn not to be saddened by the monotony
rid myself of all of this.

You ask
How I could Love You.?
Eyes moist from the struggle of life.
I gaze behind the tears and find
Angelic beauty crying out to me.
You wonder why I stay the course
Set so many years ago.
But yet there is no course at all,
Only the natural flow of Love
Dancing like a woodland stream
Finding its way home.
You tell me I could be happier,
You set me free to soar with the starlings.
But yet I nest with a swan.
Wings no longer needed.
Content with the beauty of which
No other can compare.
You ask How I could want You. ?
Tears cloud my eyes
And I can only ponder
How could I not?
Wanting you is as natural as taking my next breath,
Yet Loving you is more pleasing than all
Of life’s pleasures and luxuries.
You ask how I could Love you?
Because
That is what I do !! .....and always will......
