Through tear.

Just because the smell of me
Has begun to fade away,

Me absent from your side,
Doesn't mean I've left your dreams,
As you sleep into the night.
I come with whispered words of comfort

If I were a Sorceress I'd conjure up a spell,
to break the chains that bind you to the wall inside your cell.

If I were a Genie, I'd grant you wishes..three.
so from the pain you feel inside, you'd be finally free.

If I were a Guide, I would help you find your way,
through the lonely wilderness, from the path you'd never stray.

If I were a Cupid, Loves arrow I would fling,
so that true Love finds you and your soul will finally sing.

But I am just a Friend, so ask me what you will,
and if it's in my power, your Dreams I'll help fulfill...

Best Friend

Without you in my life,
I don't know where I'd be.
But now I am telling you,
I want you to see.

We've been through it all,
good times and bad.
In all of these moments,
we've been happy but also so sad.

Through everything,
you've been right here by my side.
You've heard all of my triumphs,

We have grown together,
our memories are more than a ton.
I don't know how to truly thank you,
