-------Wicca doesn't seem hard to explain, yet when one tries to put it into words, it is very hard to do. Wicca is a religion. Wiccans DO NOT suck blood, sacrafice animals, use an Athame to cut anything, or anything of that sort. We DO NOT WOSHIP THE DEVIL! However, there are some who call themselves witches and perform spells to harm others. These are bad witches. They do not have the right to call themselves in that rank of title. They are scum, evil doers, who are bored with their lives and want something new. Trying to act out to get attention. Some may be mislead, but that is a very rare case.
-------Witch Craft is an amazingly detailed religion. There are laws, such as all energy sent out will come back to the sender times three. Thus it is called the threefold law. And thus, stopping the form of new, evil spells.
-------There is one Goddess and one God. The Goddess is known the most, for there are not many male witches. The Goddess has many names, but is known as "The Goddess". Same for "The God".
-------There are certain types of Wicca. One is Electic Wicca. I am of that group. Electic Wicca is where you believe in many religions in Wicca. For example, I believe in all gods and goddesses:Celtic, African, Greek, Roman, ect... Electic Wicca is a form of very free, experimental Wicca.
-------All the other goddesses and gods that one beleives in are beleived to be just another name for The Goddess and The God. For example, I beleive that Athena, the Greek Goddess, is just another name for The Goddess, that focuses on a certain part of The Goddess' personality. Athena is another name for The Goddess, so when you want to express the wisdom, or war-likeness of The Goddess, you can use the name of Athena instead of The Goddess.
-------I have a certain way of thinking about this. The Goddess and God are like the King and Queen, or God and his wife. Then the other gods and goddesses are like the people of the Royal Court, or angels from heaven. The God and Goddess' little helpers.
