  Free Barbeque At Roma Parkland [15/08/2004]

The Malaysian Student Association (MYSA) is proud to organise a BBQ Event at
Roma Street Parklands this coming Sunday 15th August and best of all, ITS FREE
FOR ALL OF OUR MEMBERS!! This event is also open to new members who would like to join the club..just sign up there and then and eat all you want....how can you say no to FREE MAKAN... :)

  Queensland Merdeka Games 2004 [11/09/2004]
The Malaysian Student Association will be having a Queensland Merdeka Games 2004 in conjunction with our Independence Day. This is a combined event with
Malaysian Student Associations of QUT,UQ and Griffith. There will be Sports and a Malaysian Food Sale. So , please join us to celebrate MERDEKA, play some sports and support other participants while meeting other Malaysians around Queensland.

Sport Participant Fee: AUD 3.00
Non-sport Participant Fee: FOC

9:00am: Arrival of soccer players for registration

9:30am - 12:00pm: Soccer matches

2:15pm: Arrival of Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis players for registration
[ Location: Lobby, UQ Sport ]

3:00pm - 6:00pm: Basketball, Badminton & Table Tennis
[ Location: ISP @ UQ Sport ]

6:30pm onwards:
• Merdeka & Awards Ceremony
• Raffle draw
• Sale of food
        - Air bandung + ice-cream soda
        - Curry puff
        - Nasi goreng + sambal terung
        - Mee-hoon goreng
        - Onde-onde
[ Location: UQ Union area ]

EVERYONE is invited to attend this event: come support the teams, take part in the post-games ceremonies, eat some good Malaysian food (not easy to come by in Brisbane!), make a few new friends, and have a great time!
We look forward to seeing all of you there!

Soccer
• 11 male aside (15 including reserve)
• 35 mins per game (15 mins half, 5 mins break)


Badminton
• 1 men singles – 15 points per set
• 1 women singles – 11 points per set
• 1 mixed doubles – 15 points per set
• 1 men doubles – 15 points per set
• 1 women doubles - 11 points per set

Table Tennis
• 1 men singles – 21 points per set
• 1 women singles – 21 points per set

Basketball
• 5 male aside (8 including reserve)
