| I have ordered the Blue Mountain Avionics EFIS/One system. It includes the Primary Flight Display, Engine Monitoring, GPS and Autopilot. I have received the servos for the autopilot so I can install them as I am building the plane. The display and AHRS will come in October, I hope I will be ready for it then. I am going to have Dave Arechiga at Penn Avionics put everything together for me. Dave has done a lot of work for me on other planes so I am confident he will do a great job on this panel for me. I have sent in my final payment at the end of October 2004, I should get the unit in November, then I will take it to Dave to have him install it in the panel along with the radios. |

| Ahhhh! It has arrived. December 3rd the Blue Mountain Box has arrived. I am going through the manual now. This is a pretty comprehensive system, there is a lot to decide before I put it together for good. Blue Mountain suggests to hook it up on a bench and check everything out, so I am looking at what I need to do to accomplish that. After i check that out and figure out how I want it interfaced to the rest of the panel, I'll take it up to Dave at Penn Avionics for the complete installation. February 12, 2005 I have taken the top of the fuselage front deck (basically the panel and support structure) to Penn Avionics for installation of the radios and EFIS/One Display. Can't wait to get it back. |
