| To any local patrons viewing this page, please do not take offence. I am local myself and wish to present Plymouth in a lighthearted fashion. As Plymothians are the most laidback, easygoing people in the kingdom, I am sure you will understand. The Dolphin, The Barbican, Plymouth. Tel. 01752 660876. This pub gives you a feeling of the old fishing port. with a rustic interior and salty regulars. Makes for an authentic night out. The Minerva, 31 Looe St, Plymouth. Tel 01752 223047. Near to the bus station, this ancient pub is reputed to be amongst the oldest in Plymouth. Features outside toilets(!), a child friendly beer garden and live jazz. For the morning after try Cap'n Jaspers beside the Barbican Glass Centre, for that heady mix of fishy morning air and a 1/2 yd hotdog. |
