animal companion. The party is attacked by bugbears but overcomes them. While their lair is obvious, the odds are unknown and the party, after much debate, returns to Mosstone to deliver Kyrnyn.

The party returns Kyrnyn to Mosstone.

Kythorn 15

The party returns to find the bugbear lair. It is found but is empty. 

Kythorn 16

Returning to Mosstone again, the party is attacked by a band of thugs and some mysterious robed figures, who demand the parties surrender. The thugs are easily handled, but the robed figures prove more difficult to handle. They almost capture Portia and Ariana, daze Mar and Kaldes and are chased by Dane into a glowing teleport circle. The party follows and finds themselves in a warehouse, apparently prisoners of these people, one who is known as Davis. As Davis tries to separate the party at the point of a fireball wand, Whiff gets the drop on him with a color spray. The party turns the tables and discovers that there is some mysterious interest in the party, which Davis will not reveal. He promises they will not bother the party further having discovered what they needed. Being in a stand off, they let Davis go. It turns out the party is now in Zazesspur a port town in Tethyr. An inn is found and a note is received from someone interested in assisting Mar.

Mar, protected by Kaldes, meets with the Lady Wintershiven. She comments on innate abilities he should foster and comments that the function of the mysterious tattoo he has will be revealed when he comes into his power.
