Decisions Decisions

Elient 20

From the journal of Conor Llyldferg:

Some light may be dawning on at least some of the reasons why I and my compatriots have frequently been set upon by strangers, usually immediately following the question "Are you Conor?".

It seems that some rapscallion also named "Conor" has been besmirching my good name through the disreputable slave trade. Appalling.

Up until this very morning, we've been talking about how we should proceed. We've heard rumors of Kobold's being a nuisance in southern Tethyr. Also the ogre mage's control of Murann in southern Amn on the coast just this side of The Small Teeth is a growing problem in the region. We've also thought of confronting the mysterious Davis and his ilk in Zazesspur. Kaldes, not surprisingly,  suggested a "little" trip to Myth Rhynn. Ariana, in an uncharacteristic show of emotion, was strongly against such an expedition saying that "all who go there make it worse than it already was before. I won't be a part of the further corruption  of the sacred places of my people."

We were all so surprised by her show of emotion that we just stared at her for a few moments. She defiantly stared right back and then stood up with a "harrumph" and left the room.

After some additional talk we decided to take our leave of Tethyr for the time being and head to Baldur's Gate by way of a boat from Zazesspur.
