About Me
I have been decorating cakes since the
Winter of 2005. I decided to pick up yet another hobby; a hobby
that this time, not only do I enjoy doing, but others enjoy eating.
Decorating cakes is something I have
always had an interest in doing and until about a year and half ago, I
didn't think I could ever do. My sister gave me a great set of
decorating tips one year and they sat in my kitchen drawer for quite a
few years, unused and just gathering dust. One day however while
walking through the aisle at a local craft store I noticed that Wilton
had instructional books. As I explored the books, I realized just
how easy this "decorating" was going to be. Having an interest in
art my entire life, while I give myself no compliments, I figured I
could give this "decorating thing" a try. One thing led to another
and I was signed up for Wilton courses. 3 courses (12 weeks), 10
cakes and quite a few very full and happy co-workers later, I had
received my certificates of merit and was on my way. (Why
co-workers? Who else was going to eat my practice cakes?)
The cakes you will find in the gallery
are practice cakes, cakes I have done for friends' birthdays, cakes that
I have been hired to bake and cakes that I have made for various
occasions for family and friends.

gallery, just about every cake I've done thus far is shown.
There's nothing I won't try at least once. I enjoy a challenge and
claim to be able to duplicate anything you throw at me. (Or at
least will try my best.)
