Everything seems okilley-dokilley for Ned Flanders, but really, he is the long suffering neighbor of Homer Simpson. Undoubtedly, Homer can't stand Flanders, probably coz he is such an outstanding citizen. Although he was raised by his liberal beatnik parents, Ned managed to put aside his traumatic childhood and grew into the devout servant of The Lord. Sadly his beautiful wife Maude was killed in a NASCAR accident. Ned now has to raise his two kids, Todd and Rod alone. But The Good Lord knows His servants well, for Ned accepts the fate as a challenge that He had set for him. Ned lives in one of the best houses on Evergreen Terrace, and he owns the Leftorium (a place selling stuff for lefties, d'oh!) As the good Christian that he is, he has nothing much to complain, and he takes Homer's antics in his stride. Well, yessiree, nothing is going to stop him from going through his life and raising his kids to be the model Christian that they are.

Chief Wiggum is the rather rotund police chief in Springfield. Live has been good to Chief, as he is content with his job and at the same time he is able to 'occasionally' enjoy his favorite snack, donuts. His greatest moment in his history as Chief of Springfield's Police Department was when he solved the mystery surrounding the attempted murder of C.M. Burns and capturing the villainous (we'll get back to that later) Sideshow Bob when he kidnapped the whole Simpsons family. He is proud of his son, Ralph who has 'special' friends that no one can actually see (hmm...). He believes that he is the only hope when it comes to saving the town from being run over by thugs and criminals alike (never mind the fact that he almost always get the wrong person). With his donut by his side, he patrols the town with an air of indifference that is so amazing had it not been a little embarrassing.
