Lisa, Lisa... Life is tough for her... As the only member of the household who has a semblance of normality, she is the tortured soul of the family. And everybody wondered where she inherited the brains and the vast talents. Even though she has to contend being the butt of Bart's 'jokes', Lisa loves her family dearly. Lisa is the perfect opposite of her brother. Although she's only 8 years old, she reads at the 14th grade level and she is enthusiastic about college. She spends most of her time with her saxophone, a present from Homer when she was still a titchy baby. She used to hangout with the late 'Bleeding Gums' Murphy, her saxophone mentor, whom she met when she investigated the source of the jazz music that she heard. A fan of Malibu Stacy, she tried to market her own talking doll, Lisa Lionheart. But nobody wanted a doll that was that judgmental! In her spare time, she writes several college application-quality essays, reads Non Threatening Boys Magazine, the works of Virginia Woolfe and watch her favorite cartoon, The Itchy and Scratchy Show. Lisa has a pet cat, Snowball, who sadly died, and was given another cat, called, interestingly enough, Snowball II. Other than that, Lisa wants a pony that she can call her own.
