Once, Homer had hair on his head (gasp!) instead of his trademark comb over. True, it was looong ago, as his high school picture proved it. He works as a nuclear technician at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. As the head of the Simpson family, Homer had his share of problems that he can't seem to solve; usually because he has little money to solve them. Married to his high school sweetheart, Marge Bouvier, he has 2 kids, a devil (that's Bart), and 2 pets that he can't stand or understand. The thing that he hates most is his neighbor Ned Flanders although the latter is kind and friendly to him (well, maybe that's it!) and his boss, C.M Burns. He was once an aspiring gymnast before all the porkchops, donuts and beer ruled his life. Although he's the longest serving entry-level employee at the plant, Homer had short stints working as an astronaut, a member of the B-Sharp acapella and as a stunt meister ala Evil Knievel. Also joined the Stonecutters, a secret society based in Springfield. Life is not easy for him, and he had once been diagnosed to have a rare disorder and was given notice that he would die in a few days time (it was a false alarm). Spends most of his free time either at Moe's pushing a few cans of Duff or in front of the telly with more cans Duff. He was also voted as the Least Travelled Alumni of his high school, the Most Hair Lost and other notable awards at his high school reunion.
