"I was not aware that an error had a will of his own!""
Wildfire is, unfortunatley, unfinished. I don't know if I'll get around to finishing it... Soemhow I doubt it. I do, however, know what should happen, and what part Gio is to eventually play. As it stands now, Wildfire drops off with Gio headed out to Cinnibar, having recieved Mew's message. Will he succeed? Will he even make it? I know... But I'm not gonna tell. Not yet. Author's privalege. ;)
His character isn't developed too well here, as this is an earlier fic. In the beginning, he is portrayed as harsh, the typical Boss. That is because he IS the Boss here, acting with an employee who basically screwed up big time.
His role at the begining is also almost devoid of fear. He looks upon Mewthree with contempt and rage. This is, as I said, his Boss mode. He is relaying frustration to the creature. This frustration stemmed from his anger towards the scientists, and grew when Mewthree escaped.
Later on, his lighter, not quite-so-angry mode appears while he deals with Shadow and Ginger... Especially Ginger. During this, Gio exposes some of his true self. His compassion, his understanding, etc. You see?
As the fic contiues, the character begins to develope more in the directioon of his true self, though the angry, rougher side of the Boss is still evident.
