How To Make Gen Happy

I felt that it was a little unfair to have a long how to make gen mad feature, and moan on and on, without balancing it out with some positive stuff too. So these are things - some great, some small - that some of my friends do/have done for me which make me infinitely happy.

Make me cds ® Compilation cds are awesome. CD-R copies of albums that I don't have are also rather fantastic. Three or four of my friends have made me cds, and I'm always highly touched that they could be arsed really.

Appreciate the joy of emoticons ® I'm a net addict. Emoticons go hand-in-hand with this. Tolerance of my overuse of them, and an enthusiasm for them yourself, will not go unnoticed.

Text me ® I like text messages. I like funny text messages very much. Random ones are always good. Happily, many of my friends appreciate the joy of text.

Sign my tag-board and my guestmap ® It's a little thing. But it always makes me happy. \m/ lau-rrawr-ren.

Give me a guitar ® This is not a prerequisite for my friendship in any way. One person two people did give me their guitar though, and I am forever grateful.

Like Aerosmith ® What's that you say? You like Aerosmith??? Excellent. I like you.

Dance with me ® No-one likes to dance by themselves. Therefore this is a nice thing to do.

Come to gigs with me when you don't really want to ® I have lost track of the number of my friends who have done this. I have not lost track of how much I appreciate it though.

Make me laugh ® The oldest trick in the book. The best cliches are all true. :)

Talk with me for hours ® Whether I'm talking or listening, I like conversation. A lot. Whether you sit in a pub with me for an hour or so or walk from Camden to Trafalgar Square with me at stupid o'clock at night engaging in intelligent, honest conversation, it's more appreciated that you realise.

Hug me ® J. What more can I say?
