My Robotech Canon
UNIVERSALISM AT ITS FINEST
A Universe At Work...

It was the both most relaxing and discomforting bicycle ride I'd ever had.

Having just finished
The End of the Circle of the Robotech novelisation series by Jack McKinney, my feelings were scattered, unfocused, to say the least--I pedaled the wheels of the bicycle but without fervor; my mind didn't want to move anywhere, as it was somewhere else, focused upon happenings never forseen.--Suddenly, the Robotech universe was very, very different, and while it seemed only natural for the universe to take the shape that it now is, it meant the destruction of what I had known for so very long.

My Robotech Universe was dead.

The End of the Circle truly does make the Robotech universe complete--without it, I was forced to compile my own story, based off of the Macross serieses; after all, what were the three Robotech wars for, anyway? For simply Scott Bernard to ride into the sunset and that's it?--I don't blame myself for trying to give some ending to a story that was largely left unfinished...

So with this, I am sure that, now, Macross and Robotech can be separate entities--the story that is Robotech finally makes sense. Does it have to make sense? No, of course not--Zor and Haydon and all of the rest, above all else, teach us that. But in the end, what you believe is what
is. For this sudden shock through my senses, I thank Jack McKinney (there can be only one) and praise him for composing what is indeed the greatest piece of Robotech literature since the formulation of the original story; The End of the Circle is a masterpiece, and if you have not yet read this book, I believe that your Robotech perceptions are indeed like a pollinator searching for a field of Flowers of Life--certainly, treat yourself to this at all costs, but ready yourself (and make sure that you already understand the basic Robotech story as it is told by McKinney, so as to enhance the experience to its highest).

Like the nature of Protoculture, Robotech is a world of change.
I just didn't think that they applied to me.
And when the Shapings came to feel so strange
The light of truth I did see.

My name is Khyron_Prime.
And
I am a Robotech warrior, now and forever.
