Dunman Secondary Care Group Established

Earlier this year, the East started pioneering Dunman Secondary School, fruits were not apparent at first and many of their converts could not be retained. Only 2 girls remained from the 1st quarter of the year. They tried many ways and none worked for a long time. But the 2 new believers and their caregroup persevered, and in April this year, their hard work paid off and they had a convert. From then on, the work of these young girls has reaped a harvest of 7 in Dunman, and they had their 1st Dunman Caregroup at a new believer’s house on 20th May.

East Fellowship Songbook launched

Earlier this month, the East sub-district launched their very own fellowship song book, compiled from the submissions of careleaders throughout the east Sub district. This was to pool the resources of the entire sub district and help careleaders and their caregroups to learn more fellowship songs as well.

East Bread Fund Raising

On the 3rd of May, the East Sub-district started raising funds for the regional center by eating bread during dinner time to help save money. A one time offering amounting to $500 was collected on that day as leaders and members alike both brought bread and fillings to go along with them.

New Believer Retainment Board Game

The 3rd of May also saw the launch of the East New Believer Retainment Board Game, where steps to retain their new believers were allocated points, and these points would be represented in steps on these board games. The 1st to 50 would win.
