Flintstones, meet the Flintstones.....
this would come on the TV on Friday night and I immediately was glued to the set for the next 30 minutes.

Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty , and Dino were the first cartoon people to hit prime time!   And contrary to a lot of adults they made it last.  Not only did they do good they had spin-offs (such as the Jetsons). I learned who Hanna-Barbera were and started watching out for anything they were conected to.  I felt they were truly geniuses (still do).

The Flintstones were a 'modern' cave family. they had vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, cars, and lots of stuff that just was not around in 1 millon BC. But that was okay, they were fun, and they were a family that cared for each other.
